  • have had an injury for at least 12 months and completed an in-patient rehabilitation program.
  • Have neurological level of injury between C1 and T10.
  • ASIA impairment scale (AIS) is one of the following:
  • AIS C: incomplete; at least some feeling and mostly weak movement below injury level
  • AIS D: incomplete; at least some feeling and, some weak but mostly stronger movement below injury
  • be between the ages of 18 and 65 years.
  • be able to stand with the help of a walker or 2 crutches.
