This trial is enrolling 40 participants with chronic spinal cord injury to test the effect of the Tethered Pelvic Assist Device (TPAD) on balance. The TPAD is a lightweight, cable-driven robotic stand trainer that assists movement to the trunk and pelvis during standing. If included, participants will receive TPAD training and assessments over 6 months, or will undergo assessments without TPAD training over 2 weeks. Final testing of balance will be performed after 6 months.
