This trial is enrolling 36 individuals with chronic spinal cord injury to test the combination of non-invasive spinal cord transcutaneous stimulation (scTS) with respiratory training (RT) on lung function and breathing ability. scTS is a technique for stimulating the spinal cord via surface electrodes to modify spinal cord function. Respiratory training includes exercises to inhale or exhale against a pressure load. If included, participants will receive 80 sessions of either RT alone, scTS alone, or a combination of RT + scRT over 16 weeks. Final testing of lung function and breathing will be performed after 34 weeks.
