This trial is enrolling 30 individuals with spinal cord injuries to test the anti-inflammatory effect of transcutaneous (skin surface) auricular vagus nerve stimulation (taVNS) vs sham taVNS. If included, participants will perform a single one-hour session of either: 1) taVNS intervention; or 2) sham intervention with blood draws prior to intervention, immediately following the intervention, and 24 hours following intervention. Investigators will measure the effect of vagus nerve stimulation on pro-inflammatory indicators (biomarkers) in blood tests.
