This trial is enrolling individuals with spinal cord injury, stroke or traumatic brain injury, admitted to the Rehabilitation Center of Ghent University Hospital. It will test the effect of walking training in a virtual environment on balance and walking function. If included, participants will undergo either: 1) a 5-week balance training, with two 30 minute sessions per week, using a commercial rehabilitation device, the so-called GRAIL (Gait Real-time Analysis Interactive Lab); or 2) conventional rehabilitation without GRAIL. Investigators want to know if participants who complete training on the GRAIL become more confident in their balance when walking.
