This trial is enrolling individuals with acute, traumatic spinal cord injuries to test the effect of spinal cord stimulation (SCS) on blood pressure stability. SCS is a technique for stimulating the spinal cord (either with an implanted electrode placed next to the spinal cord or via surface stimulation) to modify spinal cord function. This trial will use surface (transcutaneous) electrodes attached to the skin. Unstable blood pressure is a critical issue that often interferes with physical rehabilitation. If included, participants will undergo a mapping phase (electrode location and settings) as well as SCS during daily physical and occupational therapy. Final testing will be performed after 3 weeks.
