This trial is enrolling 36 individuals with chronic cervical spinal cord injury to test the effect of a home-based therapeutic program using “transcranial direct current stimulation” (tDCS) on arm and hand function. tDCS is a non-invasive electrical stimulation of the brain delivered by surface electrodes attached to the scalp. If included, participants will be randomly assigned (2:1, tDCS: sham) to undergo 10 sessions with 20 minutes of either 1) tDCS or 2) sham tDCS, each combined with 60 minutes of high intensity repetitive arm exercises. The session will be spread over 2 weeks and will be performed at home, supervised in real-time by videoconferencing. Final testing of arm/hand function will be performed after 1 month.
