This is a trial to test the feasibility of using a home-based exercise program (SMART-HEALTH) in individuals with spinal cord injury who have sufficient arm and hand function to perform exercise. If included, participants will undergo 12 weeks of aerobic and strength training to music videos, three 40 minute sessions per week, in combination with instructor-led, individualized training, individualized behavioral coaching, and social networking support on a mobile platform. Individuals who do not adhere to the exercise program will also receive individual help from behavioral coaches trained in motivational techniques to help participants modify their exercise habits. Researchers want to know if the program is an acceptable exercise option for people with SCI. The trial will measure total minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity, as well as strength, breathing function, blood pressure, pain, anxiety and depression.
