This is a trial recruiting individuals with chronic spinal cord injuries to test whether skin-surface spinal cord stimulation combined with walking training will reduce muscle spasticity and/or improve walking. Researchers want to see if these rehabilitation therapies work better in combination than separately, and whether the effect improves daily function and quality of life. All participants will receive standard locomotor training (treadmill stepping) plus stimulation. One treatment group will feel the electrical stimulation as tingling in the legs during a 30 minute session; the other group will receive electrical stimulation at a level that cannot be felt.
