This trial is enrolling 11 individuals with spinal cord injuries for less than 6 months (at or below C7) to test the safety and feasibility of using an exoskeleton on cardiovascular function. An exoskeleton is an externally worn powered robotic device to assist movement. If included, participants will undergo 90 min sessions of walking training with the exoskeleton, 2-3 times weekly, for 8 weeks (total of 30 hours). Final testing of blood pressure, heart rate, and walking function will be performed after approximately 2 months.
