This trial is recruiting individuals with chronic, complete paraplegia to test the use of an implanted device that stimulates the spinal cord. The stimulation may activate nerve networks in the spinal cord. Researchers want to optimize device settings and see if stimulation can improve voluntary movement, blood pressure control, bladder function, and quality of life. Participants will have surgery to implant the device with electrodes placed on the surface of the spinal cord (epidural spinal cord stimulation). Testing will be done when the stimulator is turned on and off.
