This trial is enrolling individuals with spinal cord injuries to test the impact of whole body vibration (WBV) on spasticity and walking function. Improvements in spasticity after a single 6 minute session of WBV have been demonstrated in a recent study. This trial will compare that “short duration” WBV dose to a “long duration” (12 minutes) WBV dose to determine if the longer duration further reduces spasticity and/or improves walking. If selected, participants will stand on a WBV platform for 6- or 12-minutes per session, 5 days/week for 4 weeks.
